This letter is to inform the US NRC of the change of Director at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS), Armed Forces Radiobiology Research Institute (AFRRI) in Bethesda, Maryland. This change of the AFRRI Director occurred on 12 July 2023.

The new AFRRI Director is Captain Gerald F. Burke, Medical Service Corps, U.S. Navy.

This notification is required by Section 6.6.b.1 of the reactor Technical Specifications.
