Effective June 13, 2024, Mr. Andrew Smolinski has been appointed as the Reactor Facility Director (RFD) for the Armed Forces Radiobiology Research Institute (AFRRI) Facility Operating License No. R-84, Docket 50-170. Mr. Smolinski is replacing Mr. Andrew Cook who has been serving as the interim RFD until such a time a permanent appointment could be made that satisfies the requirements of Technical Specification S 6.1.3.1.b.
This notification is required by Section 6.6.b.1 of the facility Technical Specifications.
