60-day licensee responses requesting additional time for NTTF recommendation 9.3 Date:Thursday, May 31, 2012 10:22:00 AM

Dear Mr. Perkins:

As the NRC staff has been reviewing the 60-day response letters regarding the subject letters, we have determined that there are some licensees that did not provide the needed information for us to make a determination regarding the adequacy of their proposed alternate course of action. Specifically, an estimated date for their second refueling outage is needed regarding the 60-day response letters for the 50.54(f) letters in support of Near Term Task Force (NTTF) Recommendation 9.3. This date is needed forrequests number 1, 2, and 6 and if discussed in the basis should be provided in the basis for the alternative course of action. Without the date, we cannot conclude that the phase 2 staffing would be completed to meet the order for NTTF Recommendation 4.2. As we are attempting to respond to the 60-day response letters before the 90-day response, The NRC staff would like to have an email response of estimateddate for their second refueling outage as soon as possible, followed by a letter on docket from the licensees by June 6, 2012 if possible. Below is a list of the Constellation Energy plants for which we need the additional information.
