John, This is to formally notify you that the HBPP Plant Staff Review Committee (PSRC) has approved incorporating the NRCýuggested wording into our Physical Security Plan that you provided to us in June 2007 in responseto our License Amendment Request (LAR) 06-02, dated May 17, 2006 regarding evacuation.

I assume the NRC will issue a License Amendment or some other type of document approving our LAR 06-02. As soon as we receive the NRC approval, we will make the Physical Security Plan effective with the new wording.I[issue arose last week during Emilio Garcia and Bob Evans' inspection at HBPP. Bob suggested we submit DCGLs to the NIRC in advance of our taking samples in the New Gen area that will eventually be used in the final status survey. Normally DCGLs are included in a LicenseTermination Plan (LTP) that is formally submitted and approved by the NRC. I'd like to discuss with you the proper method to submit these DCGLs so that we can use them for our near-term surveys. Call or write back when you can.
