March 2, 2015 NOTICE (Notice Pursuant to 10 C.F.R. § 2.309(j)) On October 14, 2014, Citizens Allied for Safe Energy, Inc. (CASE) filed a petition to intervene and request for a hearing on license amendments issued to Florida Power & Light Company's (FPL) Turkey Point Nuclear Generating Units 3 and 4.

On January 14, 2015, the Board held oral argument on CASE's petition in Homestead, Florida. Accordingly, the Board's decision granting or denying the petition to intervene and request for a hearing is due today, Monday, March 2, 2015. The Board is in the process of finalizing its decision, and hereby provides notice pursuant to 10 C.F.R. § 2.309(j) that it anticipates issuing a decision on the petition in March, 2015.
