Re: Shearon Harris oral argument I am available on the July 17 for oral argument. The only conflict I know of with a limited appearance session on July 16 in the evening is the regular meeting of the Chatham County Board of Commissioners (Chatham County has jurisdiction within the 10 mile EPZ). I suggest that we may want to carry over the limited appearance session for an hour on July 17 to accommodate those who need to attend that meeting. Shearon Harris oral argument Parties:
Yesterday, in consideration of Staff counsel's request for a date of July 19 or later for oral argument, I sent an email asking about July 19 as a possible date. However, I was not aware when I sent the earlier email that one of the board members will not be available on that date.
Thus, it will be necessary to hold the argument on July 17, and I will issue an order to this effect in the near future. We regret that this will inconvenience staff counsel, but we have not been able to find another date that will work, and counsel has indicated that this is possible for them, which we appreciate.
In setting the limited appearance session, we are inclined toward the evening of July 16 for this, but if it would make a significant difference to hold it on the evening of July 17, we can probably do this. Please let us know your preferences.
