Dear Administrative Judges:
Pursuant to the Atomic Safety and Licensing Boards July 14, 2015, Initial Scheduling Order (ISO), the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff (Staff) is providing notification that a hearing file has been created for this proceeding. The hearing file includes the Staffs documents subject to disclosure under 10 C.F.R. §§ 2.336 and 2.1203 and the ISO. An index containing the Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) accession number, date, and title or description of each item in the hearing file is appended hereto as .
On or about August 10, 2015, the documents identified in the hearing file may be accessed through ADAMS or through the Electronic Hearing Docket (EHD), which may be accessed at http://adams.nrc.gov/ehd/. The hearing file will be contained in the Staff Discovery Materials tab of the EHD, in a sub-folder entitled, Palisades Hearing File, Initial Disclosures in the Palisades_50-255-LA-2" folder.
In addition, the Staff is producing a log identifying technical codes and standards that cannot be distributed via the EHD because these documents contain copyrighted information (Attachment 2). As explained in Attachment 2, these codes and standards are available for examination in the NRC Technical Library located at Two White Flint North, 11545 Rockville Pike, Rockville, Maryland 20852, telephone: 301-415-6239, email: Library.Resource@nrc.gov. Further, pursuant to 10 C.F.R. § 2.336(c), attached is the Affidavit of Jennivine K. Rankin, certifying that

Finally, the NRC Staff notes that it has made a good faith effort to identify and characterize all documents meeting the criteria of 10 C.F.R. § 2.336(b), 10 C.F.R. § 2.1203, and the ISO in this proceeding. In identifying these documents, the Staff does not concede their relevance to the issues to be decided in this proceeding.
