PALISADES NUCLEAR PLANT-WITHDRAWAL OF REQUESTED LICENSING ACTION (TAC NO. MF2962)
Dear Sir or Madam:
By letter dated October 21, 2013 (Agencywide Document Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML13295A446), as supplemented by letters dated June 12, and June 26, 2014 (ADAMS Accession No. ML14163A662 and ML14177A707, respectively),
Entergy Nuclear Operations, Inc. (ENO) submitted an equivalent margin analysis (EMA) for the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) approval in accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations, Part 50, Appendix G,Section IV, "Fracture Toughness Requirements."
By letter dated December 18, 2014 (ADAMS Accession No. ML14352A044), ENO requested to withdraw the application from NRC review. The NRC acknowledges the request to withdraw the application. NRC activities on the review have ceased and the associated Task Assignment Control (TAC) No. MF2962 has been closed.
