This letter is provided in response to your letter of November 10, 1982. In a review of the correspondence on this issue, it has become obvious that the need exists to establish the status of each of the various requests for information, submittals and commitments which have been made in response to your requests.
With regard to Attachment 1 of the above mentioned letter, Georgia Power Cpmpany has determined that nora of the specific valve type questions are a plicable to Plant Hatch. Furthermore, our commitment in our October 1, 1 982 letter to have the purge valves open less than 1% of the time primary containment is required would seem to have resolved the issue of BTP 6.2.4.
n consideration of our commitment, the intent of your November 10, 1982, etter is not clear. Therefore we request a meeting between our staffs to etermine the exact status of each remaining issue regarding purging and venting during normal operation. We will work with the Hatch Licensing Project Manager to develop a mutually acceptable time and place.
