This refers to the reciprocity inspection conducted on November 18-19,1997, al the University Hospital of Cleveland, Cleveland. Ohio. The purpose of the inspection wa= to determine whether activities authorized by the license were conducted safely and in accordance with NRC requirements. At the conclusion of the inspection, the findings were discussed with Mr. Cary Hedger of your staff.
 
The inspection was an examination of activities conducted under your license as they relate to e

radiation safety and to compliance with the Commission's rules and regulations and with the conditions of your license. Within these areas. the inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews with personnel, independent measurements and observation of activities in progress.

During the inspection, your conduct of licensed activities was generally characterized by safety, conse'ous source transfer operations, sound health physics practices, and careful rad.oactive source inventory procedures. We are pl eased to inform you that no violations of NRC requirements were identifed during the course of this inspection, in accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the NRC's " Rules of Practices," a copy of this letter will be placed in the NRC Public Document Room.
 
We will gladly discuss any questions you have conceming this inspection.
