Acting Executive Director for Operations CRACKS IN FOUR-INCH BYPASS LINES With the discovery of the crack at Monticello, and the fact that the NRC has not had a review of the situation in this and other GE plants, I would like a Commission briefing on the matter as soon as possible.

Please include the history and latest assessment of the cause and your recommendations for future action.
