On December 15, 2008, Northern States Power Co. (Northern States) filed a motion for reconsideration, or in the alternative for referral to the Commission, of the portion of the Boards December 5, 2008 Memorandum and Order admitting Contention 5.1 In light of the upcoming holidays and as a courtesy to the parties, Northern States has requested that the Board extend the time in which parties must file their answers to the motion until January 5, 2009. Northern States indicates that both NRC Staff and Petitioner support this request.
 
For good cause shown, Northern States request is GRANTED. The deadline for all parties to file their answers to Northern States motion for reconsideration will be January 5, 2009.
