Dear Ms. Bladey,

I'm writing you to urge your vote to safely restart Unit 2 at the San Onofre Generating Station. I have read multiple articles explaining the cause and possible safe solutions for this restart. I want to urge you to support the proposed trial period of running the plant at 70% capacity for a period of 5 months. Getting this plant returned to service will help Southern California with much needed generating capacity over this next hot season.El Segundo is a community that has an electrical generating plant in our city boundaries and one directly adjacent to our City. We also are adjacent to LAX, Hyperion sewage plant and we have the Chevron Oil refinery in our City. We understand the need for industrial uses in our community and work to mitigate community concerns so both can function side by side.I understand that the Huntington Beach generating plant is no longer available and that the water shed in the Sierra Mountains is much less that normal possibly reducing the availability of Hydro Power this next hot season. Please act with a sense of urgency so this power plant can be restarted safely and serve Southern California's electrical customers.

Bringing the NRG El Segundo Power facility on line is needed, but will not make up for the need to safely restart Unit 2 at the San Onofre Generating Station.Thank you for your consideration of these important sources of power to the Southern California region.Sincerely, Carl Jacobsor Mayor ,, ......00 1 A6 oUNSl Review Complete Template = ADM -013 E-RIDS= ADM-03 Add= B.
