Location of Meeting:  2443 Warrenville Road Lisle, IL  60532 Purpose of Meeting:  The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) will discuss with the public information related to discharges from nuclear power plants and NRC regulations related to these discharges in order to ensure public and environmental safety. The NRC will also discuss the recent leak from the safety injection refueling water tank at Palisades. The NRC will respond to questions.
Meeting Category:  This is a Category 3 meeting. The NRC staff will hold a two part meeting. The first part of the meeting will be a Webinar discussion by the NRC with observation by members of the public.
The second part of the meeting will be an open discussion, between the NRC and the public, on the topic of effluents from
nuclear plants and the NRC's regulatory process.
Interested members of the public can participate in this meeting via a Webinar. Webinar seats must be reserved before  May 22, 2013, in order to participate, at:
