Open House from 5:30 - 6 P.M. (EDT)

End of cycle meeting from 6:00 - 8:30 P.M. (EDT)

Location of Meeting: Beach Haven Event Center 10420 M-140 South Haven, MI 49090 Purpose of Meeting: The Open House portion of the meeting is to provide an open forum where NRC personnel will be available to discuss agency activities and nuclear power issues with the public.

The Public Meeting portion of the meeting with the licensee is to discuss the 2011 annual assessment results for Palisades Nuclear Plant. The NRCs Policy Statement, Enhancing Public Participation in NRC Meetings, effective May 28, 2002, applies to this meeting. The policy statement may be found on the NRC website, www.nrc.gov, and contains information regarding visitors and security.

Meeting Category: The Public Meeting with the licensee is a Category 1 Meeting.

The public is invited to observe this meeting and will have one or more opportunities to communicate with the NRC after the business portion of the meeting, before the meeting is adjourned.
