The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) will discuss the Safety Injection Refueling Water Tank (SIRWT) leak that occurred on May 5, 2013, at the Palisades Nuclear Plant.
Meeting Category:
This is a Category 3 meeting. The NRC staff will hold a two part meeting. The first part of the meeting will be an internet presentation by the NRC for members of the public regarding the SIRWT leak and the subsequent repairs. The second part of the meeting will be an open discussion where the public can pose questions to the NRC regarding the SIRWT leak and the repairs.
During the open discussion portion of the meeting, questions must be submitted in writing through the go-to-meeting system.
Interested members of the public can participate in this meeting via the internet. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting. This is a virtual meeting where you will be able to see the presentation on your computer and hear the presenters through your computers speaker system.
If a computer or speaker system will not be available, you will have the option to join a unique listen-only line. You must still register to obtain the unique phone number for the listen-only line.
