SUITE 210 LISLE, IL 60532-4352 March 18, 2015 NOTICE OF SIGNIFICANT MEETING THIS MEETING IS OPEN TO PUBLIC ATTENDANCE Name of Licensee: Entergy Nuclear Palisades, LLC Name of Facility: Palisades Nuclear Plant Docket No.: 50-255 Date and Time of Meeting: Thursday, April 9, 2015 Open House from 5:00-6:00 p.m. EDT Palisades End-of-Cycle Performance Discussion 6:00-8:00 p.m. EDT Location of Meeting: Beach Haven Event Center 10420 M-140 South Haven, MI 49090 Purpose of Meeting: The Open House portion of the meeting will provide a forum where U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff will be available to discuss agency activities and nuclear power issues with the public. During the Open House, the NRC staff will be available to discuss issues specific to Palisades, including a recent license amendment request (LAR) associated with pressurized thermal shock (PTS), a White finding in the area of radiation protection identified in the fourth quarter of 2014, and the results of an assessment of the Safety Conscious Work Environment (SCWE) in the Security department. As part of a public outreach effort, The Division of Nuclear Materials Safety (DNMS) will also be on hand at the Open House to discuss the NRCs regulation of radioactive materials in non-nuclear reactor applications.

Notice of Significant Licensee Meeting During the Palisades End-of-Cycle performance discussion, the NRC will discuss the 2014 annual assessment results for Palisades Nuclear Plant. The NRCs Policy Statement, Enhancing Public Participation in NRC Meetings, effective May 28, 2002, applies to this meeting. The policy statement may be found on the NRC website, www.nrc.gov, and contains information regarding visitors and security.
Meeting Category: The Palisades End-of-Cycle performance discussion is a Category 1 meeting. The public is invited to observe this meeting and will have one or more opportunities to communicate with the NRC after the business portion of the meeting and before the meeting is adjourned.
