On September 19, 2008, the U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) completed a security inspection at the Zion Nuclear Power Station. The enclosed inspection report documents the inspection results, which were discussed at the conclusion of the on-site inspection on September 11, 2008, with Mr. R. Schuster and other members of your staff. The NRC completed an in-office review of additional information provided by your staff, and conducted a telephone exit interview on September 19, 2008, with Lisa Keysear, Site Security Manager.

Dear Mr. Pardee:
