Media questions re: Pilgrim license renewal review Brian, An organization called the Jones River Watershed Association (JRWA) is asserting the NRC likely violated the federal Endangered Species Act while reviewing the Pilgrim license renewal application by ignoring potential impacts to endangered species and their habitat. Pilgrim Watch and JRWA are circulating the attached press release and letter to reporters who cover the plant. What would be the appropriate response to this? Dennis will be working at home, so I can set up a bridge line for the three of us.

However, we can't find a record of that letter in our online record system. Do you happen to have a copy of that letter that you could forward to us? Media questions re: Pilgrim license renewal review

Brian, An organization called the Jones River Watershed Association (JRWA) is asserting the NRC likely violated the federal Endangered Species Act while reviewing the Pilgrim license renewal application by ignoring potential impacts to endangered species and their habitat. Pilgrim Watch and JRWA are circulating the attached press release and letter to reporters who cover the plant.

What would be the appropriate response to this? Should we say we just received it and will need to review it, or is there more detail that can be offered at this point?
