==Dear Mr. Conway:==
On November 15, 2011, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) completed an initial operator license retake examination at Diablo Canyon, Units 1 and 2. The enclosed report documents the examination results and licensing decision. The preliminary examination results were discussed on November 15, 2011, with Mr. Ron Fortier, Operations Training. A telephonic exit meeting was conducted on November 21, 2011, also with Mr. Fortier, who was provided the NRC licensing decision.

==Dear Mr. Conway:==
The examination included the evaluation of one applicant for senior reactor operator license and was a retake of the dynamic portion of the operating test. The license examiners determined that the applicant satisfied the requirements of 10 CFR Part 55, and the appropriate license has been issued. There were no post-examination comments submitted by your staff. The enclosure to this letter contains the details of this report.
