- Pursuant to Section 2. 742 (b) (1) of the Commission's-Rules of Practice, Consumers Power Company (" Applicant") hereby responds to those items in the Department of Justice's Request for Admissions ~1/ to which Applicant did not object. -(See " App-licant's Answer to Motion'to Compel . . ." filed March 12, 1973; also see letter from Watson to Brand, filed March 16, 1973.)

Applicant's responses to the following numbered items of the Request are:

113 Applicant admits that it has made offers to purchase the electric facilities of Charlevoix (1962),

St. Louis (1965), and other cities, but denies that it has offered to purchase electric facilities of Traverse City (1965) and denies that these offers are currently open for acceptance.

133 Applicant denies that it has a present interconnection with the M-C pool.
