Subarticle IWE-2400 includes the requirementsforthe scheduling of examination andtestsforClassMC componentsandMetallicLinersofClassCC components.

Specific schedulingcriteriaare included in IWE-2412forplants,whichareemploying InspectionProgramB.This paragraph references Table IWE-2412-1,whichincludesminimumand maximum percentages of examinationsrequiredtobe completedbyeachinspectionperiod.Table3.3.8-2 summarizes this information.Figure3.3.8-1providesinterval,periodand approximate outage dates.Per IWE-2412(a),thefollowing examinationslistedinTableIWE-2500-1as deferrable totheendofthe inspectionintervalarenotrequiredtomeetthecriteriainTable IWE-2412-1:

GNRO-2016/00062 Attachment 1 Inspection Periods-Subsection IWL Subarticle IWL-2400 includes the requirementsforthe scheduling of examination andtestsforClassCC Concrete components.Table3.3.8-3 summarizes the Subsection IWL Examination periodsforGGNS.Concrete examinationsshallbe conductedevery5years(aperiod)as describedin2410(a)and(c).Forthe purposesofthisprogramsection,anIWL inspectionperiodshallbedefinedasthe windowoftimeallowedby IWL-2410forthe completionofonesetof IWL examinations.

Concretesurfaceareasaffectedby repair/replacement activitiesshallbeexaminedin accordance with IWL-2410(d).

IWE-2420(a) statesthatthe sequence of component and component support examinations establishedduringthefirstintervalshallberepeatedduringthe successive intervalstotheextentpractical.Entergywillselectand examine a majorityoftheClassMC components and component supports in accordancewiththiscriteria.However,EntergyhasadoptedCodeCaseN-624asapprovedin RegulatoryGuide1.147,whichstatesthatthe sequence of examinationsmaybe modifiedprovidedthe percentage of requirements ofTableIWE-2412-1aremet.CodeCaseN-624allowsthe sequence of examinations establishedduringthefirstintervaltobemodifiedbyfactorssuchas scaffolding erection, radiological concerns,insulationremovalorother considerations.

The Containment Inspection Engineer selects examinationsforagivenintervalandforagivenperiodin accordancewiththe requirementsof1OCFR50.55aandASMESection XI.Examination selections are documentedinthe IDDEALdatabase.The implementing organization determines the appropriate schedule for completionofthe examinationswithinagivenperiod.

Examination CategoryE-ASelection GNRO-2016/00062 Attachment 1 remain essentially unchanged,theyno longer require Examination Category E-C examination.
