Completion of License Renewal Activities Prior to Entering the Period of Extended Operations Grand Gulf Nuclear Station, Unit 1 Docket No. 50-416 Renewed License No. NPF-29 In accordance with the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station Unit 1 (GGNS) Renewed Facility Operating License Condition (C)(50)(b)(3), Entergy Operations Inc. (Entergy) confirms the establishment of GGNS new programs and enhancements to existing programs of Reference 2 are complete except for the following items.

Item 7, Compressed Air Monitoring Program The procedures that will direct the performance of inspections during the period of extended operation (PEO) will be approved prior to entry into PEO on November 2, 2024.

Item 12, Fire Water System Program A project to ensure sprinkler heads are tested or replaced in accordance with NFPA-25 (2011 Edition), Section 5.3.1 will be initiated prior to November 2, 2024. A procedure change to formalize monitoring the fire water system jockey pump has been initiated and will be approved prior to November 2, 2024.

Item 16, Internal Surfaces In Miscellaneous Piping and Ducting Components Program The procedures that will direct the performance of inspections during the PEO will be approved prior to November 2, 2024.

GNRO2024-00025 Page 2 of 2 Item 23, One Time Inspections (OTI) Program The remaining inspections will be completed and the program results will be documented in an engineering report by September 30, 2024.

Item 29, Selective Leaching Program Inspections are complete. The draft engineering report documenting program results will be approved by September 30, 2024.

Item 31, Water Chemistry Control - Closed Treated Water Systems Program The procedures that will direct performance of inspections during the PEO will be approved prior to November 2, 2024.

Certain license renewal programs and activities described in the Updated Final Safety Analysis Report (UFSAR) have been revised as allowed by GGNS License Condition (C)(S0)(a).
