River Bend Station (RBS) Certificate of Compliance for Spent Fuel Storage Casks (CoC) 5.4,requires the submittal of an Annual Radioactive Effluent Release Report. 10CFR72.44(d)(3) also requires the annual submittal of a summary of effluents from the independent spent fuelstorage facility.
The purpose of this letter is to fulfill these reporting requirements for the 2013calendar year at RBS.The HI-STORM 100 Cask System does not create any radioactive materials or have anyradioactive waste treatment systems.
There is no gaseous or liquid pathway attributed to thespent fuel stored in the independent spent fuel storage installation.
Radiation Protection radiological surveys and current postings were reviewed and demonstrate that there is noimpact to members of the public from the dry fuel storage in 2013. Environmental TLD datafor 2013 was reviewed and it also does not show any impact to members of the public fromdry fuel storage in 2013. Therefore, there were no radionuclides released to the environment in liquid or gaseous effluents during the previous 12 months of operation.

River Bend Station (RBS) Certificate of Compliance for Spent Fuel Storage Casks (CoC) 5.4,requires the submittal of an Annual Radioactive Effluent Release Report. 10CFR72.44(d)(3) also requires the annual submittal of a summary of effluents from the independent spent fuelstorage facility.
