U.S. NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISSION REGION I NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING MN-17-014 May 10, 2017 Licensee: Exelon Generation Company, LLC Facilities: Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station Docket Nos: 50-219 Date/Time: May 25, 2017 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Location: Holiday Inn Manahawkin 151 Route 72 West Manahawkin, New Jersey 08050 Purpose: The U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) will meet with the public to discuss the NRC's assessment of safety performance at Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station for 2016, as described in the annual assessment letter dated March 1, 2017. The NRC will respond to questions on plant performance and our role in ensuring safe plant operations. NRC Attendees: D. Pelton, Deputy Director, Division of Reactor Projects S. Kennedy, Chief, Division of Reactor Projects, Branch 6 A. Patel, Senior Resident Inspector E. Andrews, Resident Inspector Public Participation: This is a Category 3 Meeting. The NRC will provide a short presentation, and then host a question - and - answer session during which members of the public will have an opportunity to ask questions or make statements in a traditional public meeting format.
