Purpose

This notice is being issued to ensure that recipients are aware of the correctcommercial telephone numbers for the NRC that are to be used to report inci-dents and reportable items as required by the regulations and license condi-tions. In addition, it is considered prudent that recipients assure-that othertelephone numbers used for emergency notifications are correct, and provisionsexist for periodic updating.It is expected that recipients will review and forward the information in thisnotice to cognizant individuals for review and appropriate use. Suggestionscontained in this information notice do not constitute NRC requirements;therefore, no specific action or written response is required.
