Basis for Enlief:    'Ihese    valves    provide    isolation  between  the demineralizal water header arrl the "A" Recirculation Spray Pump suction and discharge piping as shown on the attached figure.          'Ihe configuration of these valves    (i.e.,    two    in  parallel) is such that individual leakage rates for each specific valve cannot    be    determined using the test method of IW-3424.          In  this    case,  assignirg maximum Prini mble leakage rates for each valve would not be practical.
Altermte Test:      Assign a maximum permissible leakage rate for both 4 inch valves as a unit to then be used as the criteria for initiating corrective actions in accordance with IW-3427 (a) .
