In a telephone conversation on January 26, 2011, Mr. Edwin Lea, Senior Operations Engineer, and Mr. Bobby Ayers, Oconee Nuclear Station, Operations Continuing Training Supervisor
In a telephone conversation on January 26, 2011, Mr. Edwin Lea, Senior Operations Engineer, and Mr. Bobby Ayers, Oconee Nuclear Station, Operations Continuing Training Supervisor, made arrangements for the NRC to inspect the licensed operator requalification program at the Oconee Nuclear Station. The inspection is planned for the week of February 28, 2011, which coincides with your regularly scheduled requalification examination cycle. The staff at your facility should prepare and conduct the requalification examinations in accordance with your NRC-approved requalification program. It is our understanding that you have committed to maintain your plant-referenced simulator in accordance with ANSI/ANS-3.5-1998, American National Standard for Nuclear Power Plant Simulators for Use in Operator Training and Examination.
