The Howden strategy is to perform an internal readiness audit using a NUPIC type Checklist out of Buffalo during the week of May19th. This audit would include processing of a Non-Safety fan unit through the Winnipeg location as a mock activity for verification purposes . HNA will then communicate their readiness schedule to NUPIC and other industries . Their current plans are to initiate a phone-in question and answer forum prior to the NUPIC meeting in Portland during the week of June 9th . The ultimate goal of HNA is to have the facilities in operation approximately 8 weeks from this date which will be the subject of discussion regarding conditions of approval prior to scheduling a full NUPIC audit.
