The proposed . changes are to include the Radiological Effluent Technical Specifications into the Surry Units 1 and 2 Technical Specifications. These changes are requirements in accordance with NUREG-0472, Revision 3. AMENDMENT TO OPERATING LICENSES DPR-32 AND DPR-37 SURRY POWER STATION UNIT NOS. 1 AND 2 PROPOSED TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION CHANGE Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.90, the Virginia Electric and Power Company requests an amendment, in the form of changes to the Technical Specifications, to Operating Licenses DPR-32 and DPR-37 for the Surry Power Station, Unit Nos. 1 and 2. The proposed change is enclosed.
The proposed . changes are to include the Radiological Effluent Technical Specifications into the Surry Units 1 and 2 Technical Specifications. These changes are requirements in accordance with NUREG-0472, Revision 3. The proposed changes are provided in Attachment L Justifications for deviating from NUREG-0472, Revision 3 are provided in Attachment 2. Attachment 3 provides the justification for the surveillance requirements of the Waste Gas Decay Tanks.
The Surry Power Station Offsite Dose Calculation Manual (ODCM) is provided in Attachment 4. The Surry ODCM is also a requirement of NUREG-0472, Revision 3 but is not to be included in the proposed changes to the Technical Specifications. The Surry ODCM has been reviewed by the Station Nuclear Safety and Operating Committee.
