STAFF REVIEW OF THE BRAIDWOOD NUCLEAR POWER PLANT INDEPENDENT SPENT FUEL STORAGE INSTALLATION PHYSICAL SECURITY PLAN AND VERIFICATION OF ASM INCORPORATION On June 22, 2011, a Security Inspection conducted by Eugenio Bonano, Health Physicist, Region III, verified that the Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI) located at the Braidwood Nuclear Power Plant has successfully met the objectives outlined in the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Inspection Procedure (IP 81311). The Inspection Report numbers for this report are 050004564/2011405, 050004574/2011405, and 00073/2011401. | |||
Based on staffs review of the Braidwood Physical Security Plan (PSP), we determined the Braidwood PSP (Rev. 10) has met the performance objectives and general requirements outlined in Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulation, Section 73.55, and the Additional Security Measures imposed by NRC Order EA-2010-050, Issuance of Order for Implementation of Additional Security Measures and Fingerprinting for Unescorted Access for Braidwood Station ISFSI, dated June 9, 2010. | |||
