Few Add'l Questions Hi, Bill. I have just a few additional questions:
- 1. Where will most of the decommissioning and dismantling workers come from? The craft workers, security, and much of the engineering are primarily local while most of the management, technical support, and planning are not local, but essentially living here with a home somewhere else. A guess is approximately 3/4 local and 1/4 from outside the area.
- 2. How many decommissioning and dismantling workers are currently on-site, now? We currently have 680 staff that have been trained and qualified to be on site with the added clarification that on site total workforce is roughly 300-400 each week based on scope of actual work being performed.
- 3. Are most of the current workers local? See 1 above.
- 4. I forgot, but where is the parking area that the workers are, and will be, shuttled from? Parking areas are identified in LTP Chapter 8, Figure 8-2. Figure 8-2 identifies 4 parking areas, but the parking area near the Count room/Lab is no longer available and Figure 8-2 will be revised in LTP Revision 1 to reflect the 3 remaining parking areas. So far we have not had to shuttle site workers since moving some mgt. and engineering personnel to College of the Redwoods (CR).
Thank you.
