-Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML 17156A606), we provided five signed draft originals of Amendment to Indemnity Agreement No. B-73, Amendment No. 15, which was required in connection with the transfer of the license. A correction has now been made to update the historical section of the Indemnity Agreement, and we are enclosing five new signed originals.

As further background for purposes of this letter, by order dated April 14, 2017 (ADAMS Accession No. ML17081A433), the NRG approved the direct transfer of the Toledo Edison Company's 18.26 percent leased interest and the Ohio Edison Company's 21.66 percent leased interest in Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit 2, to FirstEnergy Nuclear Generation, LLC. By letter dated May 30, 2017 (ADAMS Accession No. ML17115A123), the NRG issued Amendment No. 187 to Renewed Facility Operating License No. NPF-73, which modified the Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit 2, license to reflect the transfer.
Please coordinate the signatures of the other four originals and keep them for your records. Therefore, the following is intended for clarification as a matter of record. Pennsylvania Power Company became a subsidiary of Ohio Edison Company in 1944. In 1986, a holding company, Centerior Energy, was formed with Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company and The Toledo Edison Company becoming subsidiaries.
FirstEnergy Nuclear Generation Corp. became FirstEnergy Nuclear Generation, LLC in 2012 (ADAMS Accession Number ML 12221A413).
