The proposed change is enclosed.
AMENDMENT TO OPERATING LICENSE DPR-32 SURRY POWER STATION UNIT NO. 1 PROPOSED TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION CHANGE Pursuant to 10 CFR 50.90, the Virginia Electric and Power Company requests an amendment, in the form of changes to the Technical Specifications, to Operating License DPR-32 for the Surry Power Station, Unit No. 1.             The proposed change is enclosed.
We are requesting that Technical Specification 4.17.A for inaccessible snubbers be given an administrative extension for 21 days. This extension will allow continued operation of Surry Unit 1 until Surry Unit 2 returns to power operations following an extended refueling outage. This extension will maximize the use of our nuclear units and minimize the cost of replacement power, and the cost to the consumer, during a high load period. The proposed change is provided in Attachment
