On September 1, 2017, the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) completed a security inspection at your Byron Station, Units 1 and 2

, and the NRC inspectors discussed the results of this inspection with Mr. P. Boyle and other members of your staf The inspectors documented the results of this inspection in the enclosed inspection repor The NRC inspectors documented two findings of very low security significance (Green) in this repor These findings involved violations of NRC requirement The NRC is treating these violations as N on-Cited Violations (NCVs) consistent with Section 2.3.2.a of the Enforcement Polic Cross-cutting aspect s were assigned to the finding s in the area of Human Performanc Specifically, Byron failed to ensure that personnel, equipment, procedures, and other resources are available and adequate to support nuclear security [H.1] and Byron failed to use decision making-practices that emphasize prudent choices over those that are simply allowable
