By letter dated June 6, 2017 (copy enclosed for your quick reference

-Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) Accession No. ML 17156A606), we provided five signed draft originals of Amendment to Indemnity Agreement No. B-73, Amendment No. 15, which was required in connection with the transfer of the license. A correction has now been made to update the historical section of the Indemnity Agreement, and we are enclosing five new signed originals.

Please sign one original and coordinate the signature of all appropriate parties and return it to the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission's (NRC's) Document Control Desk as proof of acceptance.

Please coordinate the signatures of the other four originals and keep them for your records. As further background for purposes of this letter, by order dated April 14, 2017 (ADAMS Accession No. ML 17081A433), the NRG approved the direct transfer of the Toledo Edison Company's 18.26 percent leased interest and the Ohio Edison Company's 21.66 percent leased interest in Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit 2, to FirstEnergy Nuclear Generation, LLC. By letter dated May 30, 2017 (ADAMS Accession No. ML 17115A123), the NRG issued Amendment No. 187 to Renewed Facility Operating License No. NPF-73, which modified the Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit 2, license to reflect the transfer.

B-73 AMENDMENT NO. 15 Effective , Indemnity Agreement No. B-73, between Ohio Edison Company, Pennsylvania Power Company, The Toledo Edison Company, The Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company, FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company, FirstEnergy Nuclear Generation, LLC, and the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission, dated August 12, 197 4, as amended, is hereby further amended as follows: The names "Ohio Edison Company" and "The Toledo Edison Company," are deleted wherever they appear in the indemnity agreement.

Item 1 of the Attachment to the indemnity agreement is modified as follows: Item 1 -Licensees Unit 1 -FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company FirstEnergy Nuclear Generation, LLC Unit 2 -FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company FirstEnergy Nuclear Generation, LLC Item 1 -Address for all Licensees 76 South Main Street Akron, OH 44308 In light of the above amendments and the intent of previous amendments, Indemnity Agreement No. B-73 is between FirstEnergy Nuclear Operating Company, FirstEnergy Nuclear Generation, LLC, and the United Stated Nuclear Regulatory Commission.

Historically, licensee name changes to the original indemnity agreement and attachments thereto were not correctly recorded.

Therefore, the following is intended for clarification as a matter of record. Pennsylvania Power Company became a subsidiary of Ohio Edison Company in 1944. In 1986, a holding company, Centerior Energy, was formed with Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company and The Toledo Edison Company becoming subsidiaries.

FirstEnergy Nuclear Generation Corp. became FirstEnergy Nuclear Generation, LLC in 2012 (ADAMS Accession Number ML 12221A413).
