Dear Sir or Madam:

By letter (Reference 1), Entergy Operations, Inc. (Entergy) proposed a change to the Waterford Steam Electric Station, Unit 3 (Waterford 3) Technical Specifications (TSs) to delete the vendor recommended diesel generator surveillance requirement (SR) currently required by SR 4.8.1.1.2.f.

Based on conversations with your staff and upon approval of the proposed change, Waterford 3 commits to relocate the SR to the Technical Requirements Manual (TRM). Attachment 1 provides an updated list of the commitments associated with this license amendment request.

There are no technical changes proposed. The original no significant hazards consideration, included in Reference 1 is not affected by any information contained in this supplemental letter.
