Meeting Summary:
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff conducted the meeting in accordance with NRC Management Directive 3.5, Attendance at NRC Staff-Sponsored Meetings (ML21180A271).
On August 25, 2025, a closed meeting was held between the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff and representatives of Oklo Inc. (Oklo). This meeting was a follow up to a public meeting previously held on July 17, 2025. The public presentation is available at Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) package accession number ML25199A220. The purpose of this meeting was for the staff to ask clarifying questions regarding Oklo's planned pre-construction activities and to discuss the path forward for any regulatory actions needed.
Oklo representatives provided an update on the preconstruction activities for its proposed reactor at the Idaho National Laboratory site and responded to questions provided by the NRC staff.
No regulatory decisions were made as a result of this meeting.
