This is a meeting in which attendees will have an opportunity to observe the NRC performing its regulatory function or discussing regulatory issues. Attendees will have an opportunity to ask questions of the NRC staff or make comments about the issues discussed following the business portion of the meeting; however, the NRC is not actively soliciting comments towards regulatory decisions at this meeting.

Purpose:

The purpose of this teleconference between Union Electric Company, dba Ameren Missouri (the licensee) and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff is to discuss the licensee's upcoming license amendment request (LAR) for approval to incorporate into the Callaway Plant, Unit No. 1, licensing basis, a new criticality safety analysis exclusively for the spent fuel pool.
