Consultation Request on Motion Regarding Transcript for the Oconee SLRA-2 Proceeding Date:

Friday, September 6, 2024 1:26:00 PM

Dear Counsel:

We have received the redacted transcript of the June 24, 2024, initial prehearing conference from FERC. In order to get the redacted transcript to the Licensing Board so that the Board can complete its work on the petition for hearing and contention admissibility, the NRC staff would like to promptly file a motion on the public docket with the Licensing Board to adopt the redacted transcript. We plan to file our motion with the Board no later than Monday, September 9. Do you object to the NRC staff filing this motion? The NRC staff is not consulting on the specific redactions, which were determined by FERC, but rather on the motion requesting that the Board adopt the redacted transcript.

Regards, Mary Frances Mary Frances Woods Attorney, Division of Reactor Programs Office of the General Counsel U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission
