The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff has forwarded the Notice of Issuance of the Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact regarding the application submitted on November 19, 2020, as supplemented by letters dated September 22, 2021; April 22, and September 15, 2022; and January 27, 2023, for the renewal of Facility Operating License No. R-33 for the GE-Hitachi Nuclear Energy Americas LLC Nuclear Test Reactor, to the Office of the Federal Register for publication. The proposed action would renew the Facility Operating License No. R-130 for 20 years from the date of issuance.
