Dear Jeffrey Isakson:

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff has received your submittal dated January 24, 2022 (Agencywide Documents Access and Management System {ADAMS}

Number ML22024A142), requesting revisions to the WCS Consolidated Interim Storage Facility Special Nuclear Materials License Number SNM-2515.

We have completed our acceptance review of your submittal and have identified no administrative omissions or deficiencies that would prevent us from proceeding with a detailed review. Your submittal has been assigned Cost Activity Code (CAC)/Enterprise Project Identification Number (EPID) 001028/07201050/L-2022-LLA-0018. Please reference this number and Docket Number 72-1050 in any future correspondence associated with this request.

Please note the NRC staffs review of your submittal may identify issues that could require that you provide additional information. Based on our preliminary evaluation and projection of current review schedules, we anticipate completing our formal review by May 2022. Please note these dates could change depending on the findings of our review, urgent assignments, or other factors. Within 30 days after completion of the NRC staff review of your application/submittal, a notice will be published in the Federal Register to inform the NRC staffs decision regarding your submittal. The NRC staff estimates that completing the review of your submittal will require approximately 80 staff hours. We will promptly communicate significant schedule and/or cost changes, if any.
