Dear Ms. Garcia Santos:

By letter dated October 2, 2019 [1], and supplemented by letter dated June 30, 2020 [2], Holtec submitted a request to amend Certificate of Compliance (CoC) 72-1032 for the HI-STORM FW MPC Storage System. Subsequently, the NRC staff sent staggered Requests for Additional Information (RAIs) by letters dated September 24, 2020 [3] and November 6, 2020 [4].

Holtec is pleased to submit responses to these NRC RAIs in Attachment 1 of this letter. contains RAI-related changes to Appendix A of CoC-1032, while Attachments 3 &

4 contain RAI-related changes to the proprietary and non-proprietary versions of the HI-STORM FW FSAR, respectively. Note that all previous changes associated with Amendment 6 remain tracked in Attachments 2 through 4, while changes specifically resulting from these RAIs are highlighted for clarity. Attachment 5 contains a proprietary proposed revision of Holtecs cask drawing, while Attachments 6 & 7 contain the proprietary structural references generated in response to structural RAIs.

As Attachments 3, 5, 6, & 7 are considered proprietary, an affidavit requesting that this information be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10CFR2.390 is contained in Attachment 8.

If you have any questions please contact me at c.omullane@holtec.com or 856-912-1162.

Sincerely, Christopher OMullane Licensing Engineer, Holtec International cc:(via email)
