REPORT OF CHANGES TO THE PHYSICAL PROTECTION PLAN (AMENDMENT 9)

\ . and Staff, Pursuant to 10 CFR 72..4, 10 CFR 72.44(e) as referenced by Renewed License Number SNM-2510, and 10CFR 72.186(b) enclosed is a report of ch~nges to the Rancho Seco Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI) Physical Protection Plan (PPP)(Amendment 9), effective August 25, 2020. The changes-did not decrease the effectiveness of the PPP. The change meets the requirements of the physical protection plan as contained in Renewed License No.

SNM-2510, Amendment 4, Condition 12, effective March 9, 2020, as modified by the NRC Order dated October 16, 2002, containing the Interim Compensatory Measures for Physical Security and the NRC Order dated August 18, 2004 containing the Additional Security Measures 'tor Access Authorization.

The Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) makes no regulatory commitments (as defined by NEI 99-04) in this letter.
