Nuclear Regulatory Commission Washington, DC 20555-0001 Docket No. 72-11 Rancho Seco Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation Renewed License SNM-2510 RANCHO SECO INDEPENDENT SPENT FUEL STORAGE INSTALLATION 10 CFR 73.71 SAFEGUARDS EVENT #55085 60-DAY REPORT Pursuant to 10 CFR 73.71 (b)(1), the Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) notified the NRG Operations Center of an apparent security event as described in 10 CFR 73, Appendix G(1)(c) at 1035 on January 27, 2021.
Pursuant to 10 CFR 73.71 (a)(4), SMUD is submitting the enclosed written report regarding Safeguards Event #55085, including results from SMUD's investigation of the event and corrective measures resulting from the investigation.
This communication contains no new licensing basis commitments regarding the Rancho Seco ISFSI.
