Subject:
Physical Security of Spe uclear Material Docket 70-25 The Energy Systems Group is currently conducting fuel fabrication activities at the group headquarters facility at 8900 De Soto Avenue, Canoga Park, California, under Special Nuclear Material License SNM-21 with the physical security for strategic quantities of special nuclear materials provided as described in AI-74-5, Revision A, dated October 13, 1978, and in accord with Part A of Section 9.0 of Materials and Plant Protection Amendment MPP-1 to License SNM-21.
A recent revision to Section 11.11 of 10 CFR 11 requires that special nuclear material licensees, subject to the physical protection require-ments of Sections 73.20, 73.25, 73.26, 73.45, and 73.46 of 10 CFR '73, identify at their facilities and describe by amendment to their security plans key jobs filled by licensee's personiiel involved in the fuel fabrication activities authorized by the special nuclear material license.
In accord with that requirement, submitted herewith is a proposed revision to the Energy Systems Group special nuclear materials security plan listing the generic job titles described in Section 11.11.
The ravision has been prepared in the form of revised pages to AI-74-5, Revision A, with the revised portions of the pages indicated by vertical black bars in the right-hand margins of the pages. Ten copies of the revised pages are enclosed for your information and review.
