Dear Mr. Miraglia:

On June 26, 1987, SMUD submitted to the Staff Revision 0 of Engineering Report ERPT-E0220 entitled, " Report On Conformance Of NSEB And DG Building Electrical Installation To Regulatory Guide 1.75."

Since this submittal, two revisions to the report have been completed.

Revision 1 added reference to Wyle Laboratory's Test Report No. 48141-02, Yolumes 1 and 2, that was submitted to the Staff as part of Docket Numbers 1

50-424 and 50-425 on July 13, 1986.

Revision 2 is a follow-up to discussions with the Staff on separation criteria of Class 1 and Class 2 cable trays and cable raceways described in NUREG 1286, Section 4.7.3.2 A 1 & 2.

This revision presents further clarifications for the SMUD position described in our engineering report.

Please find enclosed, Revision 2 to our engineering report. The changes for i

Revision 1 and Revision 2 are marked accordingly in the margins of the affected pages. The changes for Revision 1 have been added for clarity.

I It is our position that this additional information is complete and sufficient to adequately address the associated SER items.
