of Rancho Seco Nuclear Generating Station, Unit 1, following the event of December 26,1985(NUREG-1286). This document provides the status of restart issues as they exist at this time. Note that a number of restart issues are still unresolved because additional information is needed by the staff. This information was identified in the staff's letter of August 14, 1987. We request that you respond as soon as possible to the August 14 letter in order to avoid adverse impact on our review schedule and the issuance of SER supplements necessary to close out all issues required for restart.
