STAFF REQUIREMENTS - BRIEFING ON STATUS OF FORT ST. VRAIN, 10:00 A.M., FRIDAY, OCTOBER 17, 1986, COMMISSIONERS' CONFERENCE ROOM, D.C. OFFICE (OPEN TO PUBLIC ATTENDANCE)

The Commission

  • was briefed by the licensee and the staff on the status of Fort St. Vrain nuclear power plant.

Presentations by the licansee were made by the following:

- Richard Walker Chairman of the Board Public Service Company of Colorado

- Robert O. Williams, Vice President Nuclear There were no requirements placed on the staff.

The Commission, however, emphasized that it expects the staff to maintain a strong oversight on the licensee's progress, and when ready, inform the Commission that they are satisfied that the plant and the licensee are ready for restart and the basis for this finding.
