SUBJECT:
REVIEW AND ACCEPTANCE OF DIABLO CANYON OPERATIONS QA PROGRAM By letter dated December 2, 1983 (J. O. Schuyler to J. B. Martin), the Pacific Gas and Electric Company submitted the current description of the QA program for Operations of the Diablo Canyon Power Plant. The QA program description replaces the current Chapter 17.2 of the FSAR in its entirety.
We have reviewed the proposed change to the QA program against the Standard Review Plan Section 17.2 " Quality Assurance During the Operations Phase" Rev. 2 of July 1981. We find that the Quality Assurance Program description for Operations of the Diablo Canyon Power Plant represents an upgrade of the program previously accepted..The program continues to satisfy the requirements of Appendix B and is therefore acceptable.
